DOCUMENTS CERTIFIED!!!!!!!!!!

We found out today that our documents were certified. Now they will be sent to the DIA then they send the 3rd letter to the PDJ (I think), then they invite us to travel. How long is this going to go on, you ask??? Well, the PDJ signs the adoption decree and THEN we get a travel date. We are now looking at end of Sept, beginning of Oct. I'll believe it when I see it! It just keeps getting pushed back and back!!

Meanwhile, our Home Study has expired! They will be shocked to find out we still don't have our child. Now, we have to get an addendum. What next?

Happy 10 months, Sara!

Sweet little girl, you are 10 months today! We love you very much and we can't wait to hold you! You have so many wonderful things in store for you. Funny, you don't even know we exist. We will be there soon, angel!!!

Still a whole bunch of NOTHING!!

When I asked for an update on our case today, here's what the response was:

I'm keeping in touch with our partner daily - no update on your case yet. We may anticipate news next Monday.

NEXT MONDAY!!! So my niece Samantha will have her Bat Mitzvah on Saturday. We will have to face hundreds of friends and relatives with no Sara and no answers. It's going to be a very difficult weekend. I had the perfect dress for her to wear! Looks like we won't make it for Gary's Birthday. We'll be lucky to make it by Sara's on Oct 30 and mine on the 31st!

Well, we were hoping for a travel date, but we got new pictures. We are not happy about the pierced ears. Looks like we have missed the first steps!! She is so gorgeous! We just want to hold her!

The first kitty is Hobbes. He loves Sara's car seat. Then there's his brother, my baby Calvin (so cute)! This is Gigi, or the BDM (big dumb mutt) as Gary (lovingly) calls her! She comes with her own TODD attachment. That's The Tail of Death and Destruction.

NOTHING!!!!

Well, I was hoping to get good news this week, but nothing so far. Now my agency is saying it looks like our Giving and Receiving Ceremony is looking like SEPTEMBER!!! Well, let's hope it's by the 16th for Gary's Birthday!
