WOW! It looks amazing! Painting, resecorating and all of that jazz is refreshing for the soul! I love the colors! Hoping for travel news soon so that Sara can come live with you in your beautiful home!
After struggling with infertility for a year and 1/2, we thought it was the end of the world. That was until 2003 when Sue was diagnosed with Stage 2 Breast Cancer. The worst thing about that, besides the fear of death, was that we were told we would not be able to have children. We cried for days over that. After several surgeries and months of Chemotherapy, we weren't even sure if we could try to have a baby.
After a clean bill of health, we continued to try to conceive with no success. Thanks to the encouragement of a dear friend, we were led to adoption.
We started the adoption process in March of 2006 and received our referral on November 13, 2006. After a 25 day trip to Vietnam, we brought our daughter home the day before Thanksgiving 2007. Every minute with her is a blessing.
Fast forward to 2011. We are all doing well and looking to add to our family. We are ready to take the plunge again. This time, for a toddler girl from the Democratic Republic of Congo. We are all very excited!
