Back in HCMC

Ok, it's getting to be like Groundhog Day. Every day is beginning to be the same. Needless to say, we did not have our INS interview today and probably won't make it home next Friday as planned. We are, of course, still enjoying our time with Sara. We are hoping to make it home for Thanksgiving at this point!!!!!

Here's another dress my parents got me in Vietnam.

Gary and Sue,
I'm sure you will get your interview soon, hopefully in a day or two. I fretted so much over both the HCMC and the Hanoi interviews but they are a breeze once you finally get scheduled. I know it's awkward living our of a hotel room with a baby but try and enjoy what you can of HCMC to pass the time.

That's too bad!! What an adorable dress! Hopefully, you can watch the OSU, Michigan game. We hope you're home for Thanksgiving!! The upside is that you can enjoy the time away from cooking, cleaning, mail, phone calls, etc. so you can spend more time with Sara. Leslie

So if it's like Groundhog's Day, maybe you'll have a chance to learn the piano and French. Porquois pas, bien sur?

Word is they're working on it from our side. Hang in there.

I'm sure you are getting very tired of living in a hotel room. You will be home soon and will laugh about it every time she wants to hear the story of how you adopted her. Over 20 years ago, I went with my grandparents to Washington DC for vacation. We stayed for weeks and the only place we could afford to eat all three meals was a Roy Roger's Restaurant. It wasn't funny at the time, but we still laugh about all of those "Trigger" burgers we ate. Hang in there!

You are in my prayers.
